Dear John R. Hummel Families,
I am honored and excited to be your new principal! I've worked in the Clark County School District for over twelve years as a middle school special education teacher, elementary teacher, and strategist. Most recently, as an elementary assistant principal for six years. I am thrilled to be back serving this community, as I have had the privilege of working in multiple roles throughout my career at Hummel Elementary.
I am eager to learn about the amazing things happening throughout the Hummel campus. I am dedicated to working with our staff, parents, and students to help this school perform at outstanding levels. In addition, I am committed to creating a safe learning environment in which all students are excited to learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am excited to be joining the Hummel staff as your new assistant principal. I have worked in the Clark County School District for 17 years as an elementary teacher, interventionist, strategist, and most recently as an elementary assistant principal. I am excited to be a part of the Hummel community and learn about all of the wonderful things occurring on the school campus. It is my goal to continue the Hummel traditions and help provide a positive, safe, and high-quality education for all students. I am committed to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where students are excited to come to school.
